Here's the problem. A surplus of smart people. Thousands of smart posts that no one reads because no one has the time or the inclination. Thinking is not doing, and very soon, companies and people are going to recognize that AI can only get you so far. Human powers of persuasion, relationships, and politics are what drive ideas forward, not nice-looking decks culled from available data.
I think it’s a great point and the variables you mentioned certainly drive much of my consulting work.
That said, having produced thousand of pieces of content all on my own, and those having generated +40 million total impressions and +70,000 followers across platforms, I have met many people who have received terrific value from the content I have produced and have found over and over again that a single piece of content is the introduction to the conversations and relationship building that you are so right to be prioritizing.
Ostensibly, I think you need both. Appreciate the thoughtful perspective!
Also, I never anticipate that everyone who subs will read what I write. I create everything for the one or two people who will see value and be helped by the work. Interestingly, those one or two (often silent observers) are the relationships that become the most long lasting and valuable.
